• | Periodontal (Gum) Health - The health of your gums is just as important as the health of your teeth, in fact, the gums and the teeth rely on each other for good health. The gums can become infected with an issue known as gum disease. It can be hard to know if your gums are affected by gum disease because pain and discomfort aren’t a common side-effect of the disease. If you notice that your gums bleed when you brush or floss, or if your teeth feel loose, you might have gum disease. • | Sealants - Brushing twice a day is an essential part of maintaining your oral hygiene. However, despite your best efforts, you may have difficulty reaching certain areas of your mouth. Your molars have cusps on the chewing surface, which creates deep crevices. Food particles and bacteria can gather in these spaces, and it can be difficult, if not impossible, for the bristles on your toothbrush to reach, leading to tooth decay. At Everwell Dentistry, we can help you to maintain the health of your teeth with sealants.
